Describe your path to Grovehouse. How did you end up with the GH family?
I had worked in group homes for a few years prior to joining Grovehouse and decided it was time for a change. My brother was working at Lilia at the time and suggested I give hospitality a shot.  So, I joined Lilia in 2017 as a Backserver.

Where are you inspired by outside of restaurants? How do you channel that inspiration at work?
I am wholly inspired by my family.  They are why I do what I do.  It is because of them that I set high standards for myself and those around me, all in the hope to make Grovehouse that much better.

What's your coffee order?
My coffee order of choice is Dirty Chai Latte w/ Oat Milk.

Favorite comfort food/meal/snack? 
Favorite snack is a toss-up between Oreo O’s cereal and roasted pecans.

What do you listen to in your free time?
I’m usually listening to a podcast or some oldies in my free time.

How do you find your "calm'?
Like everyone else, I’ve experienced my share of challenges throughout my life. Through all of that, I’ve learned to set aside a few moments every day to self-reflect.  This helps me keep things in perspective and enjoy the little things.

What is your favorite memory from this year?
My favorite memory of this year is fairly recent as my family and I traveled to California to celebrate a birthday. All of us had not been in the same room for about a year and a half at that point. Moments like those while fleeting, are what keep me motivated to make the next one better and to have the type of life that will grant me as many of those moments as possible.
